Kirsten Pace is a Senior Engineer at Cool Earth Solar. She brings technical, project management, and business experience to this role. Previous to joining Cool Earth Solar, Ms. Pace co-founded LabSmith to develop innovative, time-saving equipment that enable research experimentation. At LabSmith, Ms. Pace co-invented the patent for the Synchronized Video Microscope. She held lead roles in design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and product sales. Before starting LabSmith, Ms. Pace worked as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Emerging Technology Department of the Sandia National Laboratories . At the National Labs, Ms. Pace contributed as an engineer on an explosive destruction system used for non-proliferation of weapons, and project managed the development of batch super-critical water oxidation technology. Kirsten started her career at Aerospace Corporation where she designed solid rocket motors and analyzed pre-flight readiness of rockets for the United States Air Force. Ms. Pace earned both her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. |
