Dr. Mauro, M.D., received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed an internal medicine internship and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Mauro is currently a board certified Physiatrist and is Director of Medical Rehabilitation Specialists. His practice primarily focuses on neuro-muscular disorders and frequently results in testimony as a medical expert. He performs lectures and educational seminars for local law, medical and pharmacy students.Dr. Mauro has had multiple entrepreneurial ventures. He currently serves as General Partner and Chairman of Rosewinds Investments and as Director for the Bank of Tallahassee, and has private investment experience in land development, bio-tech companies, and several dot com companies. He is excited and enthusiastic to serve on the board of LearnSomething.com. His medical and business experience will provide a unique perspective as we expand our pharmacy/medical and retail initiatives. |
