Kirk Maier joined uBid in November 2007 with over twenty years of experience in sales and marketing at major technology companies. As Vice President of uBid’s B2B Solutions Group, Mr. Maier is responsible for finding solutions for its partners who have a need to either sell, or purchase large quantities of surplus, end of life, or refurbished inventory.
Prior to joining uBid, Mr. Maier worked at Displaytek where, as a Partner, he coordinated the North and South American product launches for various large global corporations.
Mr. Maier was Vice President of LG Electronics IT Branded Division where he ran all commercial and retail sales in the U.S. and developed a new retail/commercial strategy for the IT branded products. Mr. Maier successfully led his team to dramatically increase LG’s sales across large corporate customers and retail customers.
Mr. Maier was also Vice President for Samsung Electronics Digital Information Technology Division and has worked for companies like Mitsubishi, Vasco Data Security, and Zenith Data System.
Mr. Maier was twice selected by Computer Reseller News as Channel Chief. He attended Columbia College and DeVry Institute of Technology.
