Kingman Strohl is the Director of the Center for Sleep Education and Research at Case Western Reserve University and a Professor of Medicine in the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. He has wide experience in the field of sleep apnea research. Dr. Strohl received his Bachelor's degree from Yale University and his MD from Northwestern University in 1974. He has spoken at sleep conferences all over the world and has published over one hundred articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Currently he is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Physiology and Co-Editor of the Journal Sleep and Breathing. He has served on the Board of Directors, and as chair of the Committee on Research for the American Sleep Disorders Association, now known as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He was a founding member and served four years as Vice-Chairman of the National Sleep Foundation. He is a founding member, Past President, and current member of the Board of Directors of the American Sleep Apnea Association, the non-profit patient support group. |
