Kimberly L. Robinson is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and has dedicated her career to the defense of medical malpractice cases. She also chairs the firm's Diversity Committee. Ms. Robinson is involved in all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice cases, from discovery through trial through appeal. She has been involved in numerous trials to verdict, involving various medical specialties including emergency medicine, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, obstetrics, gynecology and cardiology. Ms. Robinson has also represented many other medical specialties in cases that have been resolved prior to trial. She has extensive experience in representing various different health care practitioners, such as doctors (both allopathic and osteopathic), surgeons, nurses, podiatrists and dentists. She has represented both the individual health care provider and the health care institution. Ms. Robinson has dealt with virtually all issues involved in defending health care practitioners, from standard of care and treatment, informed consent and complex medical causation.
