After 10 years in the technology industry, Khai decided he needed a career change. He wanted to do something that would give him unlimited income and growth potential. With the help of Tim Braheem, he kick-started his mortgage career at the end of 2002. In the beginning, Khai was unsure how he would learn the industry quickly enough. It was then that Tim told him about a project he was working on called LoanToolbox. Khai soon joined as one of the LoanToolbox’s original members. Using the systems he learned from LoanToolbox, Khai closed 99 loans his first year in 2003 by executing a database growth strategy. In 2004, Khai focused on nurturing his database and closed 116 loans.In 2005, only his third full year as an originator, Khai combined his efforts into one effective system and closed 204 loans resulting in $78 million in production!In 2006, Khai opened a First Magnus/Great Southwest Mortgage net branch where he manages a team of 10 loan officers while maintaining his personal loan production of 15 fundings per month. |
