Mr. Wheatley is a Relationship Manager in the Integrated Retirement Plan Solutions Group for The Vanguard Group, and, in that capacity, manages Defined Contribution Plan relationships between $20 million and $100 million in assets. With a distinguished career in Financial Services, he is an acknowledged expert in transaction management, financial analysis and forging investor-relationship leadership alliances. Prior to joining Vanguard, he was Director of Capital Markets for PNC Bank in Philadelphia. He began his career as a Corporate Banking Officer at Maryland National Bank, where he managed loan portfolios in excess of $30 million. In addition to his seat on the Board of DSPCon, Mr. Wheatley was a member of the Commerce Finance Association, served as Treasurer of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is a past Editor-in-Chief of Executive Insight, a financial newsletter. He earned his master’s degree in finance from Drexel University and his undergraduate degree in business administration from Loyola College. |
