Kevin has a 30-year background in both commercial and investment banking and brings extensive capital market expertise to the firm. He is uniquely skilled at aligning the right capital-raising strategy to the particular stage of a client's business through his far-reaching network of corporate, debt and private equity sources. Prior to co-founding LudlowWard Capital Advisors, Mr. Ward spent 11 years at Provident Bank Corp., where he most recently served as Managing Director of Provident Capital Corporation. He also served as Senior Vice President for Provident Bank's Commercial Banking division where he managed the firm's entire commercial banking department for Greater Cincinnati. Under his management, assets increased from $800 million to over $1.1 billion and generated over $50 million in pretax income.
He also served as a Vice President/Director for their Corporate Finance department where he was responsible for developing Provident's senior and subordinated debt products for middle market leveraged financing. In this assignment, Mr. Ward completed 37 transactions that committed $285 million, generated $4 million in fees and realized $5 million in equity gains. Before Provident, he served in various commercial, merchant and investment banking positions for GE Capital Corporate Finance Group, The Cooper Companies, Citibank/Citicorp North America and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.
Mr. Ward received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tulane University. He is licensed as a General Securities Representative and Registered Principal. Mr. Ward is also a Trustee of the Cincinnati Country Day School and is a former Board Member of Boys Hope/Girls Hope in Cincinnati. |
