Mr. Tannehill is a highly regarded television executive with 30-year track record of success in network television and syndication. Prior to joining Echo Bridge Entertainment, he was Executive Vice President of Network Distribution at United Paramount Network (UPN), where he was one of its "founding fathers," from 1994 1999. Previously, Mr. Tannehill spent five years as President of MTM Television Distribution and oversaw all of the company’s distribution activities. At that time, he brought back to television the reincarnation of the hit series, WKRP in Cincinnati. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Group W Productions, Mr. Tannehill oversaw all sales activity for the company and was responsible for numerous series launches in syndication. Included in those launches was the discovery and marketing of the smash hit animated series, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Before joining Group W, Mr. Tannehill worked for Paramount Television Distribution and Worldvision Enterprises in a variety of sales and management positions. Mr. Tannehill earned a Bachelor of Journalism for the University of Missouri, School of Journalism in 1973. He resides in Hollywood, and has a wife and two children. |
