Kevin Ruelas has over two decades of management experience. As Enterra Solutions' Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for day-to-day operations as well as helping the company with strategic planning and growth management. Mr. Ruelas joins Enterra Solutions having served as Vice President of Business Development for Agility, Defense & Government Services, where he was responsible for the overall market strategy and growth for the company worldwide. Beginning with a team of two sales executives and a few million in revenues he has helped develop Agility Defense & Government Services into a global defense logistics provider with revenues in the billions Agility, an Enterra Solutions' strategic partner, is now ranked as the largest service provider for the Defense Logistics Agency. Prior to joining Agility, Mr. Ruelas enjoyed a ten year career with the ocean carrier; APL – where he held various Logistics and Operational positions including Marine Operations Director and Logistics Manager for North America. Following a successful operational career Mr. Ruelas transitioned to sales where he was responsible for APL's US Government Cargoes in the Middle East. Before joining APL, he served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer for 5 years. Of note was a tour in the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy in Costa Rica. Adding to his international experience Mr. Ruelas has lived in 6 different countries and conducted business in over 40 countries around the globe. Furthermore, he is an accomplished speaker having given presentations to hundreds of recipients on 5 continents. Mr. Ruelas earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from the California State University, Fresno, where he was also a graduate of the Army ROTC program. He is currently pursuing an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and has a Certificate in Logistics from the Kenan-Flaglar Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. |
