AREA OF PRACTICE Corporate Transactions Real Estate Kevin has over 25 years of experience representing clients in connection with complex real estate transactions. Specifically, Kevin’s practice is heavily concentrated in commercial retail, apartment and office building purchases, sales, development, management and leasing. Also, Kevin has extensive experience in handling the purchase and sale of farm, ranch and timberland properties. In addition to his real estate practice, Kevin also has significant experience representing financial institutions in connection with their commercial loan transactions and in representing clients in various types of commercial business transactions, including business and asset acquisitions and dispositions. REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Represented a commercial retail shopping center developer in the sale of two large retail shopping centers in Pearland and Missouri City, Texas and in connection with various retail development and leasing transactions. Represented a large commercial financial institution in connection with acquisition and development financing for five golf courses in the The Woodlands, Texas. Represented a commercial developer in connection with various land acquisitions and development and construction financing of a high-rise condominium in Galveston, Texas. Represented a law firm in connection with its lease of multi-floor space in a high-rise office building in The Galleria area of Houston, Texas. Represented a client in connection with the disposition of a substantial undivided interest in a major ranch property in Harris County, Texas. Represented a financial institution in connection with multiple loans to related entities secured by gas pipelines and gas supply contracts. Represented a commercial lender in connection with working capital loans secured by producing oil and gas properties. Represented an automobile dealership in connection with expansion financing. Served as an expert witness in connection with a commercial real estate financing dispute.
