Kevin oversees Liquidnet's technology infrastructure, including all of the systems and processes that make up the Liquidnet network, as well as the corporate infrastructure. Kevin is one of Liquidnet's founding employees, and in his prior position as CTO, he lead the company's Software Development group. Kevin joined the company after Liquidnet acquired Armonie Software, a company that Kevin co-founded in 1999. Previous to Armonie, Kevin was the Head of Buy-side Trading Technology for New Era of Networks, Inc. (NEON). Kevin came to NEON through its acquisition of VIE Systems, Inc. Prior to that, Kevin was the Head of Application Development for Heine Securities (Mutual Series Fund), which was eventually acquired by Franklin Resources, Inc. Kevin has spent much of his time developing technology infrastructure solutions within the financial services industry with an eye toward achieving Straight-Through Processing. He started his career in financial services as a development manager at Merrin Financial, where he helped develop the first pre-trade compliance engine for institutional investors. |
