Kevin W. Kuykendall joined American Capital in April 2003 as a Vice President in the Dallas office and was promoted to Principal in 2005. Mr. Kuykendall now leads American Capital's energy investing efforts with a team of five energy-focused investment professionals based in Dallas. Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Kuykendall was a Director in the Principal Investments Group of Enron Corp., where he spent six and one-half years originating, executing, managing, and exiting a wide variety of investments, including leveraged buyouts, asset breakups, and early-stage direct equity investments. While at Enron, Mr. Kuykendall worked closely with companies in the exploration and production, oilfield services, natural gas pipeline, natural gas gathering and processing, utility services, power, and power technology sectors. Mr. Kuykendall's responsibilities have included serving as a member of ten separate Boards of Directors, including current positions as a board member of Consolidated Utility Services, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of BPWest, Inc.
Kevin earned an M.B.A. with a Finance Concentration from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.B.A. in Finance, summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma. |
