Mr. Cimino has over 25 years of experience in transactions, consulting and operations in the healthcare and real estate industries. Prior to joining Athena he was with the Health Sciences Investment Banking Group of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, LLC, providing capital raise, merger & acquisition and restructuring services to healthcare and life science companies. Mr. Cimino was part of the senior management team of Quorum Health Resources, LLC, providing transaction, consulting and operating services to healthcare providers throughout the US. He started his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant, spending most of his years in the profession with Ernst & Young, LLP. He was a member of Ernst & Young’s Health Care Industry Group and left in 1995 to join Quorum. Mr. Cimino serves as the CFO with day-to-day operational involvement in Apollo Pharmaceutical, Inc. (dermatology/pharmacology company) Albiorex, LLC (esthetic materials/pharmaceuticals development company), and JES Properties, Inc. (a land and office/commercial development company). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida in 1980.
