Currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Evergreen Energy Inc. Prior to his current position, Mr. Collins served as Executive Vice President - Finance and Strategy from September 2005 to September 2006, and acting Chief Financial Officer from November 2005 until March 31, 2006. Mr. Collins also serves as a director of Quest Midstream Partners, L.P. From 1995 until 2004, Mr. Collins was an executive officer of Evergreen Resources, Inc., serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until Evergreen Resources merged with Pioneer Natural Resources Co. in September 2004. Mr. Collins became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983 and has over 13 years' public accounting experience. He has served as Vice President and a board member of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, President of the Denver Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants, and board member and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States. Mr. Collins received his B.S. degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Arizona. |
