Kevin Golmont is a managing director at Kroll Zolfo Cooper. He has more than 25 years of professional experience, including 20 years working with troubled companies, their creditors, investors and court-appointed officials. He has provided services for major corporations and middle-market businesses in various industries, including health care, manufacturing, airline, distribution, real estate development and management, steel, retail, petroleum refining, computer hardware, and hospitality.
Kevin has advised a variety of clients, including Kansas City Southern, Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana, NationsRent, Episcopal Health Systems, Pegasus Gold, Bradlees Stores, Crystal Brands, Coleco, Commodore Computers, U. S. Shelter, Continental Illinois Bank and Elsinore Corporation. Kevin served as the CRO of Top Flite Golf Company. Assignments on behalf of creditors include Northwest Airlines, Ispat-Sidbec, Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation, Cardinal Industries, TWA, Phar Mor, Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Southmark and United Refining. He has also represented the trustees of CIS, Molten Metals and Manhattan Investment Fund.
In addition to public-record situations, Kevin has led numerous out-of-court restructuring assignments, including a toy manufacturer and distributor with $100 million in debt; a $150 million distributor, fulfillment house and provider of incentive awards; a real estate developer and syndicator with $300 million in debt; a steel and forge company with $60 million in debt; a real estate management and syndicator with 50,000 units under contract; and health care providers with debt ranging from $100 million to $300 million. Kevin has also provided expert testimony.
Before joining the firm, Kevin was an audit manager at Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) serving manufacturing, distribution, mining, mortgage banking and health care clients.
Kevin holds a B.S. in accounting from Villanova University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors |
