Mr. Kevin Lim has over 20 years of international experience in a wide range of industries with the last 12 years in the Information Technology industry. He joined Pacific Internet in 2002 and was appointed Managing Director of Singapore in August 2005. During this time, Mr. Lim led the Group’s regional marketing, corporate and investor communications functions and also provided leadership and oversight for the company’s small-and-medium enterprise and consumer business, as well as the customer service operations in Singapore.
Prior to Pacific Internet, Mr. Lim was worldwide General Manager of the Intelligent Interface Solutions Division at Lernout & Hauspie (L&H). This division was responsible for embedded and interface speech and language technology solutions, supplying to hardware and software vendors. While at L&H, Mr. Lim led the division from a traditional embedded business into a new area of developing intelligent agents using speech technology for various devices.
Mr. Lim was previously Director of Marketing for ASEAN and South Asia at IBM where he was involved in strategy planning and spearheaded marketing efforts across all divisions and industry groups in the region. He has also served at Apple Computer, Asia Pacific Breweries and Pepsi.
Mr. Lim sits on the National Trust Council in Singapore and serves as Chairman of its Marketing Sub-Committee. He is also the Executive Committee Vice Chairman for the Digital Media Chapter under the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), and serves on the Industry Sub-committee of the National Internet Advisory Council in Singapore. Mr. Lim has a Bachelor of Science degree from Pepperdine University and a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). |
