Kevin L. Freeman is a partner and member of the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Kevin concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, and counsels clients in a wide range of corporate legal matters.
Kevin has represented both buyers and sellers, public and private, in complex transactions ranging in size from hundreds of thousands of dollars to several billion dollars. He also counsels public and private company clients in a number of industries, on corporate finance issues, the negotiation of commercial agreements, reorganizations, corporate governance issues, employment matters and the formation of business entities.

Acquisition of assets of Department of Defense subcontractor, including attention to novation of government contracts related hereto.
Acquisition of stock and assets of laboratory equipment manufacturer.

In General. In addition to an active corporate practice, Kevin served as chairperson of the firm's Pro Bono Committee from 2003-2007. He also serves on a number of professional, civic and charitable boards, and is dedicated to numerous philanthropic endeavors. Kevin received his J.D. degree from The University of Chicago Law School, and his bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University. |
