Kevin McPhaill is the newest member of the Bank of the Sierra Senior Management Team. He started in banking October of 1990 as a teller. Throughout his banking career he has held positions as teller, credit assistant, commercial loan officer, branch manager and area manager. His initial assignment with Bank of the Sierra was as the Kings County Area Manager; he assumed that position June of 2001. Primary responsibilities for an area manager include management of both lending and operational staff, business development, community involvement, and commercial credit underwriting and analysis. He held the position of Area Manager until he took over the role of Chief Banking Officer on January 1, 2006. Academically, he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University. He also completed his Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Fresno, in 2000. Additionally, he is attending Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University; he plans to graduate June of 2006. |
