J. Kevin Blodgett was named General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Administration in November 2005.
Blodgett has responsibility for the company's administrative and legal affairs, including legal services supporting the company's operational, commercial and corporate areas, as well as human resources, information technology, building services, facilities and supply chain management.
After joining Dynegy's Legal Group in 2000, Blodgett rose to the position of Group General Counsel - Corporate Finance & Securities and Corporate Secretary. He was later promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining the company, Blodgett was an Associate at Baker Botts LLP and a member of the firm's Corporate Department. His principal practice areas included securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Blodgett received a bachelor's of arts from Texas A&M University and his juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. His professional affiliations include the Texas Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. |
