Kevin C. Hansen is a partner in the law firm of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP and Co-Chairman of the Bankruptcy & Commercial Law Group working primarily in the practice areas of bankruptcy, debt restructuring and construction litigation. Mr. Hansen has actively participated in numerous bankruptcy proceedings in the Western District of Pennsylvania on behalf of secured and unsecured creditors. He served as counsel to the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee of the Levinson Steel Company. Mr. Hansen has also filed and pursued numerous commercial and construction claims in the courts of Western Pennsylvania and before the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Hansen is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is past Chairman of the Young Lawyers Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and a past member of its Board of Governors. He has also served as Trustee of the Pennsylvania Bar Fund and the Pennsylvania Bar Insurance Fund.Mr. Hansen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1972 and from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1975. |
