President and Chief Operating Officer South Carolina Electric & Gas Company Kevin Marsh, 50, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and earned a BS degree in Accounting at the University of Georgia in Athens. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1977. Marsh joined South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) in 1984 as Group Manager of Technical Accounting and was named Vice President
and Controller in 1989. Since then he has served in the capacity of Vice President of Corporate Planning of SCE&G and Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Controller of SCANA Corporation. In 1996 Marsh
was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SCANA and became Senior Vice President in 1998. In addition to his duties as SCANA’s CFO, from October 2001 to March 2003, he served as president
and chief operating officer of PSNC Energy, the company’s natural gas distribution company headquartered in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was named president and chief operating officer of SCE&G in May 2006.
Marsh is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a board member of
First Citizens Bancorporation of South Carolina, Sharing God’s Love emergency support organization and a past board member of Palmetto Place Children’s Emergency Shelter.
