Dr. Fakata is a clinical pharmacy practitioner specializing in pain management and palliative care. An experienced clinical researcher, Dr. Fakata consults with Lifetree sponsors, investigators and staff on scientific and clinical issues in the drug development process. Dr. Fakata received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to and during her pharmacy education she conducted basic science research in the cellular mechanisms involved in immunosuppression. After obtaining her doctorate degree she completed her general pharmacy practice residency and pain management and palliative care postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah.
