As vice president of Asia Pacific, Mr. Gibbs is responsible for managing our offices in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Seoul. Mr. Gibbs has over 10 years of experience managing Asia operations for Silicon Valley based companies, and has successfully established new technology businesses in China, Japan, and other parts of Asia. He has managed in a variety of international business structures including joint venture, licensee, and wholly owned subsidiary. Mr. Gibbs served as Managing Director, Asia, for Slam Dunk Networks, a leading managed network service provider specializing in data security for transaction-oriented systems. Customers and partners include American Express, Cisco Systems, Oracle, SAP, and other leading developers of Internet infrastructure and e-Commerce. Mr. Gibbs has a degree in economics from UCLA and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He speaks Chinese (Mandarin) and has studied Korean.
