Kent Snyder is President and Chief Executive Officer of Senomyx. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Snyder was President of Global Commercial Operations at Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in San Diego where he was responsible for all aspects of commercial operations including sales and marketing, business development, finance, legal, medical and regulatory affairs and new product planning. While at Agouron, Mr. Snyder was instrumental in the establishment of its commercial infrastructure that led to the successful market launch of Viracept®, an HIV protease inhibitor, which became one of the most important drugs for the treatment of HIV and the most widely prescribed drug in its class. Prior to the position of President of Global Commercial operations, Mr. Snyder held various positions including Senior Vice President of Commercial Affairs and Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining Agouron, Mr. Snyder held a number of management positions at Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. and Marion Merrell Dow, Inc., (formerly Marion Laboratories) in sales, marketing and business development. He received his B.S. from the University of Kansas, and his M.B.A. from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Snyder also serves as a director of Santarus, Inc. |
