Ken joined KSTC in February of 2007 as the Program Manager for the Kentucky SBIR-STTR Matching Funds Program. Ken recently relocated from northern, Virginia/DC area where he was as a support contractor for the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA. Ken worked as a Captain for 6 years flying for an east coast Commuter Airline called Colgan Air, Inc., a US Air Express carrier. His previous work included 15 years with the Air Force at WPAFB working in the Manufacturing Technology Directorate, Nonmetals Branch, supporting composite structures processing and design programs. He has supported C-17, Global Hawk, F-22 and JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) manufacturing issues. While working for the Air Force, Ken managed many Small Business Innovative Research, (SBIR) and Historically Black College and University, (HBCU) contracts. Ken has a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. |
