Mr. Stevens brings a diversified career that combines strategy, operations, management, and marketing to Spartan Stores. Currently, Mr. Stevens is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Limited Brands, Inc. - a retail clothing operating over 3,500 retail stores. He has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank One Retail Group, President and Chief Operating Officer of the $4.5 billion Taco Bell Division of PepsiCo, and a partner in McKinsey & Company, an international consulting firm. He also has served as a director of LaQuinta Inns, Inc., a publicly traded $1.5 billion company (NYSE). Mr. Stevens holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California; Los Angeles.
