Ken has more than 40 years experience as a senior corporate executive responsible for finance, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions at such companies as Monsanto, Ralston Purina, Black and Decker and SmithKline Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline). He has been involved as an investor and as a senior advisor in a number of start-up, early stage and turnaround companies, and has recently served as CEO of Brown and Sharp Manufacturing Co. and as VP and CFO of The University of Rhode Island. He is a member of The Cherrystone Group, a group of "angel investors" who are participating in the financing of Ion.He has a BA degree from Amherst College, was a pilot in the U. S. Navy and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. |
