Kenneth J. Nussbacher has been a member of our board of directors since 2000. He has been an Affymetrix fellow since 2000. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Nussbacher was executive vice president of Affymetrix, Inc., a biotechnology company, and, from 1995 to 1997, he was also chief financial officer of Affymetrix. Prior to joining Affymetrix, Mr. Nussbacher was executive vice president for business and legal affairs of Affymax Research Institute. He received a B.S. from Cooper Union and a J.D. from Duke University. Mr. Nussbacher is also a member of the board of directors of Symyx Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded company specializing in high-throughput experimentation for the discovery of materials. |
