Ken Cosgrove, with over 30 years of bank management and consulting experience, has been actively involved in Orange County banking since 1974.
In 1979, he was a founding executive of Orange National Bank, initially serving as the bank’s Senior Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer, prior to being named President and Chief Executive Officer.
He led the organization to record growth and profitability and Orange National Bank grew to become the premier independent bank in Orange County, with assets in excess of $280 million, based almost entirely on internal growth. In its 19-plus years of operation, ONB was designated as a Premier or Super Premier Performing Bank 16 times by the Findley Reports Inc., the recognized industry authority on performance analysis. He engineered the bank’s successful sale in 1999 providing shareholders a substantial premium.
Mr. Cosgrove serves as Vice Chairman of the Saint Joseph Foundation Board of Directors, is a member of the Executive Council of Cal State Fullerton’s School of Business and Economics, is past Chairman of the Orange Economic Development Partnership and instructed at Santiago Canyon College. He is a past member of TEC International, Rotary International, and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. |
