In his role as Director of Business Development, Mr. Jones is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategy development, marketing communications and key account management for FoodTech and Airport Systems. He also has division oversight responsibility for our Allen and PPM businesses.
Mr. Jones began his career with FMC in 1990 based in Lakeland, Florida with our Citrus Processing business as Product Manager, quickly advancing to the position of Global Sales and Service Manager.
In 1993, Mr. Jones moved to Fresno, California where he became General Manager of our Food Processing Systems business. In this capacity he was responsible for our Madera and Stockton California operations including our business in Canning and Tomato and Fruit Processing in the Americas.
Prior to taking on his current responsibilities, Mr. Jones was General Manager of our global Food Processing Systems business based in Belgium with responsibility for our operations in Belgium, Italy, California, and Asia Pacific.
Before joining FMC, Mr. Jones was Second Vice President, Commercial Banking for the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He received his undergraduate degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois. Mr. Jones and his family now reside in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
