Ken Ribeiro joined Implant Sciences in September 2005 to lead the corporate product development efforts. Mr. Ribeiro has more than 26 years' experience in research and development at high technology companies, most recently at General Electric where he was Director of Research and Development of the Chem/Bio Homeland Protection facility in the Security Division. In addition to his expertise in trace explosive detection, Mr. Ribeiro's multi-disciplinary background included work in medical instruments, including research and development of surgical lasers and patient monitoring equipment. Mr. Ribeiro received his BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Physics/Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. |
