Ken Wollenberg's Biography :

A 30-year veteran of the media and marketing research industries, Ken Wollenberg has served as an executive for some of America's most distinguished media research companies. Now Executive Vice President of Simmons Integrated Marketing Solutions Division (SIMS), Ken is responsible for spearheading Simmons' "Future of Information" suite of research and transactional database products.



Before joining Simmons, Ken worked as Senior Vice President for Strategic and Business Development at the Nielsen Station Index, Nielsen Media Research's local measurement service. Prior to that experience, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Mediamark Research, Inc., and, for 23 years at the Arbitron Company, in various executive positions, including Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and a member of the Arbitron Board of Directors.



As EVP of SIMS, Ken directs a rapidly expanding division that specializes in advanced analytics of transactional databases and traditional research databases. The SIMS Division of Simmons consists of a Statistical Sciences Unit, a Custom Research Unit and an Advanced Analytics Solutions Team. Together, this group creates powerful database solutions that allow companies to make smarter and more effective uses of their customer databases. Merging data from Simmons' National Consumer Study with transactional data from customer databases, other research providers and existing market research, SIMS provides a single definition of the customer for many of America's largest companies. In addition, Wollenberg oversees Simmons' innovative segmentation systems, such as Television BehaviorGraphicsTM, Shopper BehaviorGraphicsTM, Tipping Point Segments and Simmons' new Waistband Segments, based on consumers' Body Mass Index. With his broad background and successful track record as a solution focused executive, Ken is uniquely qualified to lead Simmons' Integrated Marketing Solutions "Future of Information" strategy.
