Ken Vrtis joined ChemLogix in 1999 to head the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Besides opening new accounts, his responsibilities include the development of new logistics service offerings for the chemical industry and creating economic value for our clients. Prior to ChemLogix, he spent four years as VP of Sales for the Welch Packaging Group developing a new sales organization while personally handling key accounts in the Midwest market. Mr. Vrtis spent eight years as Director of National Accounts for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines marketing creative and innovative transportation solutions to the top chemical companies with complex logistics challenges. Mr. Vrtis also spent eight years at Lanier Business Products in various sales management positions and two years at Citicorp as Director of National Accounts in the cash management sector of the bank. Mr. Vrtis received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from Northern Illinois University. |
