Ken's 27 years of management experience includes 12 years in healthcare leadership positions and 15 years in finance and energy. He also served 2 years of active duty in the military. His hospital CEO positions have been in long-term acute care, general medical/surgical, and psychiatric hospitals. His prior experience includes work for a big-five accounting firm in business consulting and Chief Financial Officer for energy companies. His professional certifications are Board Certified Healthcare Executive and CPA. Mr. Ross earned BBA, MBA and MHA degrees from The University of Oklahoma. He is currently on the OU Health Sciences Center Adjunct Faculty. Prior to starting Solara Healthcare, Ken served four years as the Chief Executive Officer of a long-term acute care hospital in Oklahoma. Under his leadership, the hospital was awarded. The Best in Quality Hospital award, which was based on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. He also received the CEO of the Year award for the National LTACH Company’s Southwest Region with superior performance in quality, patient satisfaction and physician satisfaction. Ken led one turnaround situation hospital to a Top 100 Hospital as recognized by HCIA in Modern Healthcare, December 1999, based on clinical and operational benchmarks. |
