Ken Johnson joined Westar Energy in 2002 as executive director, engineering and maintenance services. In 2005, he was named executive director, generation, and became vice president, generation, in 2006. Between 1980 and 1999, he held various engineering positions at Texas Utilities Co., Cajun Electric Power Cooperative and Catalytic, Inc. He was TXU Corp.’s manager of maintenance services from 1999 to 2002. Johnson received his B.S. degree in zoology/physiology from Louisiana State University in 1975 and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in 1980. A member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals, Johnson is a registered professional engineer and certified maintenance and reliability professional. |
