Ken joined AVI in 1995 as Vice President of Engineering, responsible for the management and successful execution of Applied Visions' consulting and contract development activities. He brings thirty years of experience developing and managing large, complex systems built around software and computer technology. In 1997 Ken combined AVI’s expertise in 3D visualization with the emerging field of cyber security to win the first of several government contracts that led to the development of our current SecureScopeTM product. He is currently acting as Principal Investigator on research contracts with the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy, exploring the use of PC gaming technology for battlefield visualization. Prior to AVI, Ken held engineering development and technical management positions at Gould Corporation, Hazeltine Corporation, and Northrop-Grumman. He has served as Co-Chairman of two IEEE subcommittees on Network Protocols, holds a US Patent (No. 4,823,127) on radar systems design, and has published numerous technical papers dealing with subjects such as artificial intelligence, computer game technology, command and control, and military network traffic analysis.
