Ken Batchelor's responsibilities include negotiating and securing music rights for the songs embodied in all DMI projects. He was instrumental in securing and developing strategic partnerships between DMI clients and (among others) Universal Music Enterprises and Sinatra Enterprises.
Batchelor joined DMI Music & Media Solutions in 1999 from Universal Music Group, where he served in various capacities beginning in 1986. Batchelor is a voting member of the GRAMMY® National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS). His professional associations include the Recording Industry Association of America, California Copyright Conference, Association of Independent Music Publishers, National Association of Record Industry Professionals, Academy of Motion Pictures and the Arts & Sciences Foundation. |
