During a career of more than fifteen years in healthcare, Kelly has established herself as a strategic leader in network development, contract negotiation, sales and marketing, with a proven ability to manage rapidly growing organizations. Her experience as a healthcare professional has been in a broad range of areas such as Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Health Insurance/HMO Plans, and Alternative/Complimentary Medicine. Kelly founded her own consulting company 3 years ago providing assistance to medical practices, outpatient clinics, hospitals and managed care organizations in the areas of managed care contracting, network development, strategic marketing, revenue enhancement and sales development. Prior to consulting Kelly was Region Market Development Manager for Comprehensive Medical Imaging (CMI), a division of Cardinal Health. CMI is a national provider of outpatient diagnostic medical imaging services where she managed the marketing, sales, and contracting activities in Arizona, accounting for over $20M in annual revenue. Under Kelly’s direction, Arizona was identified as the best run market in terms of expertise in contract management and sales leadership. Prior to CMI she served as Director of Sales, West Region & Business Development Manager for NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation; a division of Select Medical. Her responsibilities included regional contracting and revenue management for outpatient physical rehabilitation facilities in the West Region. A significant portion of her time was also dedicated to Network Development and identification of opportunities for growth through strategic alliances with providers and employers. Kelly has also held positions with Health Insurance companies such as BlueCross and BlueShield of Arizona, American Medical Security and Accountable Health Plans where she was responsible for all medical service contracting for physicians, ancillary and hospital providers. Additionally, she held a position as Network Development Consultant for Mercy Integrated Health, a division of Catholic HealthCare West for a start up Alternative Medicine Network. Her responsibilities included development of a state wide provider network of Alternative/Complimentary Medical providers and establishment of contract and credentialing guidelines for the Phoenix based operation. |
