Kelly A. Fetzer is an associate and member of the Corporate and Securities and the Investment Management Practice Groups.
Kelly's practice focuses primarily on representing and advising sponsors of unregistered investment funds, organized both in the U.S. and offshore. She provides advice regarding the organization and structure of both managers and funds, including investment advisers (registered and unregistered), commodity trading advisors and commodity pool operators.
Kelly also has significant experience in advising mutual funds and unit investment trusts on their organization, registration and continuing compliance obligations. Kelly has represented sponsors in the preparation of offering materials and has developed compliance guidelines for advertising materials. In addition, she has advised broker-dealers and investment advisers regarding their organization, registration and ongoing compliance obligations.
Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Kelly worked with other Chicago law firms, primarily in investment company practice. |
