Kelley Howes has been with Janus for 12 years and most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Janus Capital Management LLC. In this capacity she managed a staff of attorneys and paraprofessionals that provides legal services related to Janus' management of registered and unregistered investment companies as well as its private account business.
For the past year Ms. Howes has also held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Janus Funds. This role has involved working closely with the Funds' Trustees and supervising management of the retail transfer agency international operations group and investment accounting department.
Prior to joining Janus in 1994 Ms. Howes was Assistant Vice President and Counsel with the Investor Services Group of The Boston Company Advisors Inc. in Boston MA. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law. |
