Mr. Thorndyke is a senior executive with 22 years of demonstrated success and versatility in accomplishing growth and/or turnaround goals for both public and private corporations. He is an award-winning business executive who has been recognized by the University of St. Thomas as the Entrepreneurship Alumnus of the Year and by City Business as one of the Twin Cities’ next generation of business and community leaders. As the key advisor to 18 different companies, Mr. Thorndyke has continually stressed the importance of focusing energy on business projects that bring the greatest amount of value to a given company. By leading teams to execute effective strategic plans, Mr. Thorndyke has brought significant profit gains to the companies he has worked with. Mr. Thorndyke provides Manchester’s clients with superior leadership skills, particularly in the areas of communication and relationship-building, strategic planning, operations, business development, finance, and implementation. In addition, Mr. Thorndyke held the leadership positions of President , Chief Executive Officer, and/or Chief Operating Officer in six companies, including, Chief Executive Officer of Tricord Systems. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at LearningByte International, Mr. Thorndyke enhanced the strategic direction of the company by transforming it from just selling a product in a competitive market to one selling multiple solutions that allowed the company leverage their core competencies and focus on existing customer needs.
