Keith Block is executive vice president of Oracle Corporation and is responsible for Oracle's North America Sales and Consulting Organizations and serves on Oracle's Executive Management Committee. We are an enterprise second to none in the industry."Keith Block Mr. Block's responsibilities encompass sales and consulting for a very diverse group of customers spanning commercial enterprises and government education and health care. Mr. Block leads a team of nearly 7000 people. He has built his organization around industry and product specialization and has transformed the culture to emphasize customer relationships providing complete solutions with world-class services. He is personally engaged in several strategic client relationships. His organizations are focused on selling and delivering both technology infrastructure and the Oracle E-Business Suite a complete set of business applications. Mr. Block has been integral to expanding the role of innovative sales channels in North America including Oracle Direct and the Oracle PartnerNetwork. Mr. Block joined Oracle in 1986. Prior to his current position he was executive vice president of Oracle's North America Consulting practice where he reinvented Oracle's approach to selling and delivering consulting services. Previous roles with Oracle include: senior vice president North America Commercial Consulting group vice president East Consulting and vice president Americas Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) consulting. Mr. Block was also part of the Datalogix acquisition team. He was regional vice president Northeast Consulting Region where he led the region to three straight years of record profitability. Mr. Block started his career at Booz Allen and Hamilton where he was a Senior Consultant from 1984-1986. In that capacity he worked on a variety of engagements and worked with Oracle's first networked application products. Mr. Block has a BS in Information Systems and an MS in Management from Carnegie-Mellon University. He and his family reside in Concord MA. Mr. Block is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Concord Museum as well as the Board of Visitors at Carnegie Mellon University.
