Keith Beckman was named to DecisionOne Corporation’s Board of Directors in May 2005.
Mr. Beckman is a Portfolio Manager for Highland Capital Management, LP, a market leading registered investment advisor with over $20 billion in assets under management specializing in credit, structured product and special situation investing. He is responsible for managing a $1.6 billion portfolio comprised predominantly of high yield bank debt, bonds, and structured products.
Prior to joining Highland Capital, Mr. Beckman served as a Senior Portfolio Analyst with Richmont Investment Management from 1999 to 2002. His primary responsibility for the $100 million Dallas-based hedge fund was developing, executing, and managing investment ideas for a portfolio of publicly traded equity and distressed debt securities across various sectors.
Prior to his hedge fund experience, Mr. Beckman provided financial transaction advisory services to healthcare entities as a Senior Associate with Value Management Group from 1995 to 1999. Formerly, he provided valuation services as a Consultant with Ernst & Young LLP in their Financial Advisory Services Group.
Mr. Beckman received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Beckman holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. |
