Keith F. Carney is currently a director of the Company and Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Carney served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company from July 1996 through November 1997 and Executive Vice President from 1997 through August 2001. Since October 2001, Mr. Carney has been President of Dolomite Advisors, LLC, an investment firm. In 2001, he was elected a director to Cheniere. Mr. Carney also served as a member of the Audit Committee from 2001 until April 15, 2003. Prior to joining Cheniere, Mr. Carney was a securities analyst in the oil and gas exploration/production sector with Smith Barney, Inc. from 1992-1996. From 1982-1990, he was employed by Shell Oil as an exploration geologist, with assignments in the Gulf of Mexico, the Middle East and other areas. He received an M.S. in geology from Lehigh University in 1982 and an M.B.A.-Finance from the University of Denver in 1992 |
