Mr. Hendrick is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Oxford University. He joined the
Noranda group in 1953 and became President of Noranda Minerals Inc. in 1986 and Chairman in 1991. He has served as Chairman of Kerr Addison Mines, Hemlo Gold Mines and Minnova and as director of several mining and financial companies. He has also served as Chairman of the Mining Association of Canada, the Canadian Export Association, the Gold Institute, the Zinc Institute, the International Lead Zinc Research Association and both the Lead and Zinc Development Associations. He chaired the committee that formed the International Copper Association and was founding Chairman of the International Council on Metals and the Environment. |
