Keely Stewart is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. He is a member of the Corporate Department, where he represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies and a variety of other public and private companies. Keely's practice focuses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, corporate finance and general corporate representation. Keely has experience in a wide variety of transactions ranging in size from several million dollars to $1 billion.
While in law school, Keely served as a student clinician in the Irwin Askow Housing Initiative at the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic where he represented various organizations in real estate matters, specifically relating to affordable housing transactions and their related tax credit and funding issues.
Keely is admitted to practice in Illinois.
