Keay Nakae joined C.E. Unterberg, Towbin in 2004 as a Senior Medical Devices Analyst. His focus is on companies involved in cardiovascular, spine, diabetes and neuromodulation therapies. Previously, Mr. Nakae covered the same sector at Wedbush Morgan Securities. Prior to that, he spent five years at ARCO, in various corporate finance roles, including two years managing a portfolio of derivative financial instruments. He previously spent five years at St. Jude Medical as a design engineer in cardiac pacemaker research and development.
Mr. Nakae holds an MBA in finance from the Anderson School at UCLA and MS and BS degrees in electronic engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He is also a CFA charter holder. |
