Ms. Cox has served as our Vice President of Government Affairs since August 2007. Prior to joining us, she served as Vice President of Government Relations and Communications for AmeriPath, Inc. as well as serving as Treasurer of AmeriPathPAC, AmeriPath’s Political Action Committee entity. Prior to AmeriPath, she was President and CEO of American Association of Homecare in Alexandria, VA from 2003-2006. In previous roles, Ms. Cox has testified on healthcare issues before the U.S. Senate Finance Committee; presented as a panelist for the National Governors Association; been recognized as 33rd among the top 100 most powerful people in the healthcare industry by Modern Healthcare Magazine, 2005; and served on several national health care advisory boards and panels. She also contributes and serves on the boards of national and state healthcare organizations and editorial boards of publications. Ms. Cox received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee. |
