O. Kay Comendul is assistant secretary of the Northeast Utilities system (NU). She is responsible for the directors’ records and for assuring compliance with the charters, bylaws, and other applicable legal requirements for NU and its subsidiary companies, and for the filing of required federal and state agency reports. Comendul is a native of Charleston, West Virginia and earned an Associate’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She joined Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSNH) in 1978 and was promoted to assistant secretary of PSNH in 1984. She transferred to NU’s legal department and assumed her present position in April 1997. Prior to joining PSNH, she was employed by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, Inc. |
